PARIS, PALPRES.COM — The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has successfully wrapped up its high-profile delegation to Viva Technology (VivaTech) 2026 in Paris.
Marking the event’s 10th anniversary from June 17 to 20, HKSTP solidified its position as a primary orchestrator for Asia’s innovation and technology (I&T) landscape by securing pivotal cross-continental agreements.
The delegation yielded over 200 prospective business leads valued at HK$70 million, marking an impressive 50% growth in opportunities compared to VivaTech 2025.
This momentum underscores the growing global demand for Hong Kong’s homegrown technological innovations.

Strategic Agreements and Market Breakthroughs
Several prominent HKSTP Park companies signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and secured commercial deals with European and global entities:
1. Algreen: The microalgae and green tech specialist partnered with South Korean climate tech firm ForNatures to boost mutual research and development capabilities in carbon capture management and ESG goals.
2. Robocore: The robotics solutions provider established an alliance with Slovenian cognitive software startup ARCHTYP. Concurrently, Robocore finalized a landmark commercial deal with French advertising giant JCDecaux to supply 1,000 robots, significantly expanding its footprint in the European market.

A major highlight of the mission was the expansion of HKSTP’s collaboration with Bouygues Construction, a global leader in smart cities and sustainable infrastructure operating in over 60 countries.
Through its local arm, Dragages Hong Kong, Bouygues holds a 70-year legacy in the region.
